First stop

Vigo

Any time during the summer is great for this route, but August is the best time to visit Vigo... Why? Because they are celebrating their local festivities and every week you have processions, gastronomy fairs. It will be hard to decide where to start from! And since you are at the seaside, let's enjoy the sea. If you like nautic sports, you will find all you need to have a great time: Base Náutica do Vao, Real Club Náutico de Vigo, Marina Davila Sport, Liceo Marítimo de Bouzas and Club Marítimo de Canido. You'd rather sunbathe? Of course... the beaches of Samil, Foz, Canido or Carrilare waiting for you.

But if Vigo is fun during the day, you can't even imagine what it is like at night! Get ready for the sunrise on the beach, after visiting some (or all) of these pubs: Nglobe Playa Club, Etro, Pub Neo and Malakita (Did you know that they have a list with 25 different types of mineral water?).

After eating, drinking, partying and doing some sport... let's continue our trip. Board the bus!

Second stop

Lugo

The first thing that strikes you when arriving to this town is how well itsRoman wallsare preserved, you can even stroll on them. The second thing that will amaze you... its 'tapas'. In traditional Lugo bars, each time you drink you get a gastronomic delight... and really cheap!

Take note of some of the best typical taverns and bars: Ave César (Rúa Nova, 10), Catro Rúas (Rúa Camiño Real, 152 – Ask for Pulpo á Feira, their speciality!), Cervecería La Estrella (Roi Xordo, s/n), O Castelo (Rúa Nova, 23) and Os tres pes (Rúa Nova, 17). Bon appétit!

And to help digest the tapas, you can jog a little in thePaseo Fluvial del Río Miño. Also known as "Paseo de la Fábrica de Luz", because of its location near an old electricity facility, it passes by the Miño banks and the Roman bridge. No excuse for not running like crazy and doing some sport. And from there ... back to the bus. Let's continue our KMTRIKO route.

Third stop

Llanes

As soon as you set your foot in Llanes you will realize that this small town in Asturias has many things to offer. Sea, mountain, festivals, sports, cultural activities... one thing after another.

Sports: Llanes has a municipal golf course, and really near you will have the chance to practice ravine speleology, canooing, quad routes, bungee jumping and parapente... You're not gonna help trying. Vindius Aventura and Rumbo a Picos
(rumboapicos@escueladenaturaleza.com) organise this kind of activities in the area. Take note of the contact details and, let's go!

Beaches: Llanes has 35 kilometers of coast, with cliffs, beaches and almost desert coves... a paradise to sunbathe, swim and, of course, surf a little... do you have your board with you?

Turism: Even if Llanes is rather small, there are many, many spots you cannot miss. Don't miss the Cubos de la Memoria, the Bufones de Llanes and the Ídolo de Peña Tú... Aren't you curious about it?

Fourth Stop

Santander

In Santander you cannot miss the Museo Marino, the Muselo de la Prehistoria, the Palacio de la Magdalena and the Cathedral of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción. And if you like nature, you cannot miss the Natural Park of Las Dunas de Liencres and the Park of Cabárceno (it's like a zoo, but it's not a zoo... you have to see it with by yourself http://www.parquedecabarceno.com/). Time for a swim? The beaches of Sardinero and Magdalena are right in the city and they are perfect to say good-bye to Santander in style. Now quickly to the airport but come back soon to discover a thousand interesting places in Spain with your KMTRIKO!

Fifth stop

San Sebastián

Donostia is, no doubt, one of the most beautiful cities in Spain. Stately, elegant, with a sea character and a great nightlife! Swim in theConcha, and pay a touristic visit to Monte Igueldo, theAquarium, the Cristina-Enea park, Monte Urgull, the rocks of Aia and the townhall building, a work of art of neoclassical architecture. Let's get our strength back! You can enjoy the best 'pintxos' of Spain in the Parte Vieja (the old town), the Centro (downtown) and Gros (near the Kursaal).

You see? With kmtriko you can discover thousand of interesting places all over Spain. What are you waiting for to get going?
